Las Playas

Belonging to the municipalities of Valverde and La Frontera, the Las Playas Natural Monument is a protected area that is located to the southwest of the island of El Hierro, and that stands out for its semicircular shape and its steep rock formations that practically "hang" over the sea.

To see it, it is best to observe it from the viewpoints of Las Playas or Isora, and thus observe that sea entrance in a bay nine kilometers long and with a height of one thousand vertical meters above the sea. In front of him, the famous Roque de Bonanza, symbol of the island of El Hierro.
