Parque Rural del Nublo

The Nublo Rural Park constitutes the largest protected natural area of the island of Gran Canaria, and it is one of the symbols of Gran Canaria, the monolith of Roque Nublo, of volcanic origin.

This space that was declared a Rural Park in 1994, is considered a Biosphere Reserve, has more than 26,000 hectares of surface and in its interior there are up to 30 urban centers.

It also houses the Integral Nature Reserve of Inagua and the Roque Bentayga, the Special Natural Reserve of the Marteles, the Pilancones Natural Park, the Tamadaba Natural Park and the Güigüi Special Nature Reserve.
