Playa del Inglés

The English beach is a well-known holiday spot that is located south of Gran Canaria, in a kilometric strip of sand that leads from Maspalomas to the beach of San Agustín. Three kilometers of fine golden sand with an average amplitude of almost 100 meters. An excellent climate that favors an ideal temperature for water, and wind conditions that favor not only those quiet vacations that so many families yearn for, but also the practice of water sports such as surfing or kite surfing. Created as a residential center in 1962, since then this urban nucleus has seen its international fame grow so much that today it is the destination of an important tourism in northern Europe. In addition, Playa del Inglés has a nudist area, and has become a benchmark for international gay tourism.
