Sabinosa

Belonging to the municipality of Frontera, Sabinosa is the most western town in all of Spain.

Located a short distance from the municipal capital, its name comes from the large number of junipers in the area, native tree of El Hierro. It is in its population term where the popular "Pozo de la Salud" is located, whose healing waters are known throughout the island of Herrera.

Also in Sabinosa is what is the only beach on the island of authentic sand, the Playa de las Arenas Blancas.
