The Veneguera ravine receives this name due to the Aboriginal toponym whose meaning is close to "l aguna", the western basin also receives this name, which is a very wide valley located between the ravine of Tasarte and the ravine of Mogán. One of the main characteristics of this natural area is its tranquility, the clean air that is breathed and the absent nights of light pollution that allow to enjoy all the splendor of the starry sky.
In the ravine of Veneras we find the Casas de Venegueras, a small village of no more than 140 inhabitants and which is located in the heart of Parque Rural De Nublo. This park is the largest protected area of Gran Canarias, with an area that extends over more than 263,000 square kilometers, you can find the natural monument of Roque Nublo Bentayga. The ravine also houses the natural park of Pilancones or the natural monument of Tauro as well as the natural park of Tamadabao the reserve of Güigüi
The ravine ends at the beach of the same name, a place of black sand about 370 meters long and with a width of about 35 meters. A quiet beach in a unique spot perfect to enjoy a wonderful day.
