About Ermita del Santo

In the west of the Isla de La Gomera you will find the Mirador del Santo surrounded by nature, specifically the area is known as Natural Monument of the Lomo del Carroretón and is in the town of Arure . From this viewpoint the view is simply spectacular, you can see a volcanic landscape that dominates the entire space and highlights green areas that contrast with the dark earth. They also highlight the palm trees scattered throughout the ravine and in the background the blue of the immense ocean.

 The lookout has a series of walkways that make access more comfortable and that lead to the Hermitage of El Santo which is in the immediate vicinity. It is necessary to arrive on foot, since it does not have access for vehicles, for that reason it becomes a placid place and without hustle and bustle of cars.

 Also from there you can see the Taguluche farmhouse spread all over the slope of the ravine of the same name. The ocher colors of its surroundings also highlight the beauty of the place, it is undoubtedly a perfect place to relax and admire the horizon.
