San Ginés de Clermont was the twenty-fifth bishop of Clermont in the French region of Auvergne and is the patron of the Arrecife
The origin of the Church of San Ginés de Clermont is removed to 1574 when it was created in the Puerto de Arrecife the hermitage in honor of San Ginés<, patron saint of the town. The temple had a flood that caused serious damage to it so that in 1665 it had to be rebuilt, with the passage of time it was enlarged until in June 1978 it was cataloged as parish.
The floor of the church is square, inside, the temple, is divided into three naves separated by arches of half point on Tuscan columns. Regarding the roof, it should be noted that they are made of wood with a clear Mudejar inspiration, with respect to the façade it has neoclassical lines in which we can highlight the semicircular pediment and the tower that was built in 1842.
The Church San Ginés de Clermont was declared Asset of Cultural Interest in 1990.
