The church of San José which is located in the municipality of San Juan de la Rambla is another of the places of interest that this municipality offers Tenerife. There is no documentation proving the exact date of the beginning of the construction of the temple but according to some documents of the time it is known that in 1764 the works were already underway and that they were completed in 1781.
The church of San José is a simple construction consisting of a rectangular building with a four-tile roof.
The main façade has one of the doors that is framed by a semicircular arch made of stone, with a simple stone masonry with a bell that finishes off the facade.
The temple, which in 1964 was elevated to the rank of parish, is located in the Plaza Domingo Reyes Afonso.
At the present time the parish is the center of Catholic life in San Juan de la Rambla and also the neurological center of the patron saint festivities of San José they are held every year on the second weekend of September.

The volcanic origin of the Canarian archipelago makes much of the coast of the island very rugged and creates curious shapes that give rise to natural pools that serve to enjoy the waters of the Atlantic. This route of natural pools offers the most interesting of Tenerife.
The Atlantic leaves frequent lagoons in the Canarian coast forming authentic natural pools, ideal to bathe in calm waters next to a generally rough sea. These are the main natural pools that are scattered around the Canary Islands.
