About Jameos del Agua
No place like the Canary Islands to combine human art with nature. From the genius of an artist, César Manrique, the Jameos del Agua was born, taking advantage of the collapse suffered by the roof of a volcanic tube. That basalt, those dark and lifeless rocks, resurfaced from the imagination in an assortment of colors that enliven to walk the tube and enjoy its journey, its Auditorium and the curious blind crabs that live there.
