La Garañona

Among the most beautiful places you can visit in El Sauzal is the Mirador de La Garañona. This privileged place is located at the top of the cliff of El Sauzal and gives all those who visit it one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the north of the island of Tenerife
Not only are the views a real attraction for visitors, but also the landscaped areas with a multitude of autochthonous silvers of the archipelago enhance the value of this corner.

From the Mirador de La Garañona you can see the Atlantic Ocean in all its immensity, but you also get a top-down view of the Playa de la Garañona, also belonging to the municipality of El Sauzal as well as other places such as the coastal core of Mesa del Mar.

The steep and rugged coastline of the island can be seen in its maximum splendor, it can be seen that there are remains of an old elevator dating from the mid-twentieth century that was used to extract sand from the beach, although it was not used much, some of the machinery is still preserved.
