Las Breñas

In El Sauzal another of the must-see places offered by another of the most impressive views of the northern part of Tenerife is the Mirador de Las Breñas This picturesque place is located in the Urbanización La Primavera, belonging to El Sauzal, from here the path of Las Breñas starts, a path that goes from Punta del Puertito to Rojas, a tour through the Paseo del Litoral del Sauzal and where you can see the entire Protected Landscape of Costa de Acentejo which is also part of the municipalities of La Matanza, Tacoronte, La Victoria, Santa Ursula and La Orotava.

The Mirador de Las Breñas is located on the top of a cliff and is divided into two heights, you can see a garden area and overlooking the viewpoint itself sculpture with a plaque that pays tribute to the fishermen of Puertito del Sauzal who helped in an air accident that took place in the area in September 1966, thanks to them and after an emergency landing, no occupant of the aircraft died.

From the viewpoint you can see the entire coast of El Sauzal, Pesquero Alto, Punta Larga, Morro El Cangrejillo, El Teide, the Risco de La Quinta or Puerto de la Cruz among others.
