Los Hervideros

About Los Hervideros

Los Hervidores is a natural area that is located on the coast of Yaiza in Lanzarote. This natural coastal area are caves that are lashed by the force of the sea and that makes it an impressive postcard of Yaiza.

The Hervideros are some cliffs that are inside the Timanfaya National Park, with the rough sea they are flogged in a virulent way, being a show that is not I could go unnoticed. The Hervideros are the result of the cooling of the lava that arose in some of the eruptions that took place in this part of Lanzarote.

The name of Los Hervideros receives this name because when the water hits violently it sneaks through the holes and jumps looking like the water is boiling. This natural area located in the Timanfaya Park, goes from Salinas de Janubia to El Golfo.

To get to the Hervideros, you have to take a path that is already an attraction, some accesses created by the Canarian artist César Manrique, that already during the trip they are preparing the visitors of the spectacular natural surroundings to which they are going to arrive. Los Hervideros is part of a landscape triangle that includes the Hervidero itself and is completed by Salinas de Jandía and Charco de los Clicos.
