Mirador de la Montana de Arucas

About Mirador de la Montana de Arucas

Arucas has a fantastic place from where to see a magnificent view of the whole area where the city is located as well as its surroundings. This place has the name of Mirador de la Montaña de Arucas, is located 412 meters above sea level and the most curious thing is that it is placed inside what was the crater of the volcano of the same name . This cone has an approximate age of 300,000 years and its top had a shallow crater that was filled in the 50s to place this picturesque place.

From the viewpoint you can have one of the best panoramas of the Arucas municipality and the northern part of the island of Gran Canarias, you can see from La Isleta to Galdar Mountain, while looking north you can see La Cumbre.

In total the Viewpoint of the Mountain of Arucas has 4 balconies distributed to the 4 cardinal points that will allow visitors to enjoy the view of banana plantations, as well as the city and other population centers.
