About Playa de Cofete
The most famous unspoilt beach in Fuerteventura is Playa de Cofete, the first thing that strikes the attention of this stunning beach are its dimensions of 12 kilometers long and the wild nature that the whole environment has.
The beach itself is an extension of about 12 kilometers in length of clear and fine sand and next to them the Mountainous Massif of Jandía, the zones higher than Fuerteventura, and that protects the beach on the eastern part of what is known as the Islote, which is a small island attached to the beach. There is also the Roque del Moro which is an imposing rock that rises from the sea, among other points such as Casa de los Winter or the town of Cofete
Thanks to its wild nature, its tranquility and not being overcrowded is considered one of the best beaches in Europe. In the area there is the Caserío de Cofete in the natural park of Jandia, so it is practically uninhabited throughout the year.
Being in one of the most spectacular places in Fuerteventura, some tourist attractions have been recovered: The Cofete viewpoint, the old dry stone houses, the topsails or the islet of Cofete.
