Playa de Papagayo

The beaches of Lanzarote are undoubtedly one of the most important attractions of the island, among the most outstanding is the well-known Playa del Papagayo, in the municipality of Yaiza. Playa del Papagayo encompasses four incredible beaches, each one with a special charm, are: Playa Mujeres, Playa de Papagayo, Playa del Pozo and Puerto Muelas Beach.

What they have in common this set of beaches are the golden sand with a golden touch, the waters are usually very calm and with beautiful turquoise waters. From the shore of the beach, in the background you have supreme views of the Isla de Lobos and of the neighboring Fuerteventura. The low influx of people who usually have on the beach of Papagayo makes it possible to practice nudism.

Speaking of each one of them it is interesting to say that for example the Las Mujeres beach is the biggest one besides being the most visited, on the other hand we have the Playa Puerto Muelas, in its vicinity there is a campsite where you can camp or spend the night with a caravan. With regard to the Playa del Pozo, it should be noted that it is a cozy beach that at low tide is possible to reach the beach of Mujeres y Papagayo on foot.
