About Playa del Faro
In the south of the island of La Palma there is the Cumbre Vieja Natural Park, which has both the old and the new lighthouses as places of interest, as well as the saltworks of Fuencaliente and the Playa de El Faro.
The beach of El Faro is located in a privileged place where you can enjoy a magnificent day of sun and beach and the natural and wild beauty that is breathed in all of them. This beach is composed of black sand and gravel, with a length of 150 meters long and 30 meters wide, with a moderate swell.
From the beach you can see the two lighthouse towers, it has anchorage areas for shallow boats and a small beach bar. In the Playa del Faro you can practice both snorkelling and snorkeling as well as sport fishing.

Hiking route through La Palma leaving from El Pilar Refuge until you reach the Fuencaliente lighthouse.
