The Tamadaba Natural Park is located in Agaete on the island of Gran Canaria. The most remarkable thing about this natural environment is that one of the territories that the hand of man has altered the least, which shows the richness of this point of Agaete. Tamada has about 7,500 hectares that goes from the western coast of the island and is declared by Unesco as Biosphere Reserve. The native Canarian pine forests on the summits and the imposing cliffs and the biodiversity that can be found in the ravines are the elements that make this park so rich.
In the Tamadaba Natural Park you have to walk in the shade of the Canarian pines or have a picnic in the recreational area of Llanos de La Mimbre or admire from the peak of La Bandera the dense forest full of life.
From the viewpoint of El Balcón, even within the Tamadaba Natural Park you can have a fabulous view of the marine cliffs that have a curious form of dragon's tail or the beach of Guayedra with its ravine dotted with palm trees.
