The peninsula of Jandía is a peninsula located on the southern tip of the island of Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. It is one of the three great peninsulas of the archipelago, next to the peninsula of Anaga (Tenerife) and the peninsula of La Isleta (Gran Canaria).
In its apogee, 14 or 15 million years ago, it reached a diameter of 26 km and an altitude of at least 1500 m. This would imply an area of about 530 km2, that is, a much larger island than Gomera (currently, the Jandía peninsula has approximately 200 km2, of which 144 are part of the Jandía Natural Park).
