The most representative building in the municipality of Guía de Isora is the Church of Our Lady of Light dating from the 16th century. The temple was erected after the appearance of an image of Our Lady of Guidance, formerly it was a hermitage that after some reforms was restored.

It should be noted that the most outstanding elements that can be found inside are the 7 altarpieces that it has. The three most outstanding are the one located on the Main Chapel, the one on Lord of the Cross on Slope and the one on the Virgen del Carmen . The main altar has an imposing image of the patron saint of Guía de Isora, the Virgin of the Light Guide a size that came out of the school Fernando Estévez.

The Church of Our Lady of Light also has other valuable sculptures, such as the Christ of Sweet Death which is at the head of the ship of the Gospel, of anonymous author, of the XVIII century and coming from Havana. Note also the canvas of The Annunciation and other beautiful works of goldsmithing, such as The Custody Baroque style of the seventeenth century.

The historical center of Guía de Isora is undoubtedly one of the biggest attractions of this island town of Tenerife, a place that perfectly combines the traditional and the modern So much is the value of the core that the historical set of Guía de Isora was declared Asset of Cultural Interest in 2009 thanks to the important and well-preserved buildings that represent the best of traditional Canarian architecture.

The most interesting part of the historical set of the municipality is concentrated in calle de Abajo, calle Arriba, calle Tagoro and La Vera. These streets are joined to other adjacent roads and alleys being an example of the typical old town of the Canary Islands, with streets of variable and irregular width. Throughout the whole historic area it is also possible to find old laundries where women usually went, some decades ago, to do the laundry an activity that part of the cultural heritage of Guía de Isora.

The Natural Monument of the Tejina Mountain in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain) is a protected landscape located in the southwest of the island. The place, which stands out for sheltering threatened species such as the balillo (Atalanthus microcarpus), is dominated by an old volcanic dome that gives it its name.
