In the neighborhood of El Pino in the town of Puntagorda you will find one of the points that offers the most spectacular views of the town, it is the Mirador from Miraflores. From here you can see a panorama of both the neighborhood of El Pino and El Pinar and perhaps the most advisable to get to the viewpoint is to go in the months of January and February since the almond trees that there are in all the valley blooms so a white blanket covers all the trees.

To get to the Miraflores Mirador through an asphalted path that departs from the emblematic Pino de la Virgen, which is located next to the town hall in full urban helmet of the municipality.

The Mirador de los Dragos is an area that is located in the bar of El Roque in the town of Puntagorda. Upon arrival at the viewpoint you can see how it is presided over by a dragon tree, a dragon tree that has become an emblem. From the viewpoint of Los Dragos you can have a great view of the ravine of El Roque through which an old royal road passes.

Nearby is the Las Gracias viewpoint and can be reached via the LP-1 road and at the height of the Barrio de El Roque de Puntagorda

In the Pueblo de Puntagorda is located in the western part of the island of La Palma, the Barranco de Hizcagua acts as a natural border with other neighboring towns such as Garafía. One of the most remarkable monuments that Puntagorda has is the Church of San Mauro Abad. San Mauro was a Benedictine saint and has great devotion on the island since the fifteenth century and in the sixteenth century was when the church was built.

The church is of simple construction of rectangular plant and a single ship that includes chapel, choir and presbytery. The pointed arch that is located in the interior gives it a great architectural value and that in turn divides the nave in antepresbiterio, vestige of Gothic in the archipelago.

The interior of the Old Temple of San Mauro Abad mixes Gothic and Mudejar art, its importance has led it to be declared Good of Interest Culture l in 1986. The works of wood of tea that can be seen in its interior are of an important value, also the piles of holy water that are supported by the columns of the choir. The church was completed in August 2002.
