One of the most interesting viewpoints that can be visited on the island of La Palma is the Urban Viewpoint of the Port of Nao. This viewpoint was designed to be an interactive place, in it you can see a panel that shows a comparison of sizes between the star king and the best known stars.
On the avenue that leads to the Puerto de Naos viewpoint you can see a series of metal plates on the ground where you can find information about the Solar System, distances and sizes, a curious journey that ends at the end of a walk with a pole pointing to Polaris. You could also see a wheel that is a planisphere that helps visitors locate the circumpolar constellations during the night: Ursa Major and Cassiopeia.
Besides being able to enjoy spectacular views of the universe on clear nights, during the day the viewpoint also offers a spectacular view of the municipal term of Llanos de Aridane.
