El Rosario

The Church of Our Lady of Hope is a declared space Good of Cultural Interest. It is a neocolonial building that houses the religious images of Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores and a San Juan, both from the 17th century.

This viewpoint is located on the TF-24 road (access road to Mount Teide) in the middle of a pine forest with hundred-year-old trees, with views towards practically the entire southeast slope of the island of Tenerife. The area has parking to get off without difficulty and enjoy the panoramic view.

This area is located in the Monte de Las Lagunetas and offers its visitors tables and grills to enjoy a leisure time in the middle of nature, surrounded by hundred-year-old pines and breathing the pure air of the summits of Tenerife. In addition, this space has bathrooms and camping areas, which must be reserved in advance to camp there.

In the town of Machado is the hermitage in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, declared Asset of Cultural Interest. In it, apart from the Virgin that gives its name to the issue, there is the image of San Amaro. It is located next to the Casa del Pirata Amaro Pargo and the Candelaria Historic Road.

Formerly known as the Casa del Pirata or Casa del Rosario. It passed to the ownership of the González de Mesa y Rodríguez family, from whom it receives its current name. This house is linked to the figure of the pirate Amaro Pargo, considering itself the home of this historical figure and wrapped in legend.

The Bosque del Adelantado is a small redoubt of laurisilva located very close to the historic center of La Esperanza, capital of the municipality of El Rosario (Canarias, Spain). This green area covers an area of 25,397 m² and reaches an altitude between 850 and 875 meters above sea level. The vast majority of the monteverde of this municipality was cleared to use the land for agricultural purposes, to increase the grazing area or to establish population settlements. This fragment of forest is part of a stretch of ravine that has managed to conserve itself, as it was used by the residents of the area to stock up on firewood and wood. Between 1994 and 1998 the City Council of El Rosario (with the collaboration of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo de Tenerife, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund) carried out various actions that allowed this space will recover. It is located between the old building of the town hall of the municipality and the parish of the town, serving as a link between the upper and lower part of La Esperanza.

The Puerto Deportivo de Radazul is an enclave for the practice of nautical sports in the southeast of Tenerife. It belongs to the municipality of El Rosario, in the area of the coast, very close to the beach areas of the municipality, such as the Nea Beach. In it, there are frequent sports events, both sailing and motor sports, as well as diving, freediving, canoeing and fishing.

The Playa de la Nea is located in the fishing center of Boca Cangrejo, pertaining to El Rosario. It is a black sand beach that has walking areas and showers to enjoy a full day of beach. In addition, in the vicinity, there is a children's entertainment area.
