Conjunto Histórico Guía de Isora
The historical center of Guía de Isora is undoubtedly one of the biggest attractions of this island town of Tenerife, a place that perfectly combines the traditional and the modern So much is the value of the core that the historical set of Guía de Isora was declared Asset of Cultural Interest in 2009 thanks to the important and well-preserved buildings that represent the best of traditional Canarian architecture. The most interesting part of the historical set of the municipality is concentrated in calle de Abajo, calle Arriba, calle Tagoro and La Vera. These streets are joined to other adjacent roads and alleys being an example of the typical old town of the Canary Islands, with streets of variable and irregular width. Throughout the whole historic area it is also possible to find old laundries where women usually went, some decades ago, to do the laundry an activity that part of the cultural heritage of Guía de Isora.

Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Luz
The most representative building in the municipality of Guía de Isora is the Church of Our Lady of Light dating from the 16th century. The temple was erected after the appearance of an image of Our Lady of Guidance, formerly it was a hermitage that after some reforms was restored. It should be noted that the most outstanding elements that can be found inside are the 7 altarpieces that it has. The three most outstanding are the one located on the Main Chapel, the one on Lord of the Cross on Slope and the one on the Virgen del Carmen . The main altar has an imposing image of the patron saint of Guía de Isora, the Virgin of the Light Guide a size that came out of the school Fernando Estévez. The Church of Our Lady of Light also has other valuable sculptures, such as the Christ of Sweet Death which is at the head of the ship of the Gospel, of anonymous author, of the XVIII century and coming from Havana. Note also the canvas of The Annunciation and other beautiful works of goldsmithing, such as The Custody Baroque style of the seventeenth century.

Playa de San Juan
One of the biggest complaints that the municipality of Guía de Isora has is Playa de San Juan, one of the best on the island of Tenerife. The San Juan beach is one of the 13 Tenerife beaches that has the Blue Flag certification that certifies the quality of this beach, both for the quality of its waters and for its the services offered to visitors. The Playa de San Juan has surveillance, rescue, lifeguards, toilets, bars and restaurants areas, tourist information point all this together with the quality of the water. Playa de San Juan has a great tourist influx throughout the year that seeks this place for its brown sands, transparent waters. The population nucleus of San Juan, where the beach is located and belonging to Guía de Isora, has a pleasant climate throughout the year and is not usually a windy place. A breakwater protects the shore from strong currents so the waters are conducive to swimming without danger by strong currents. We must also highlight the promenade, the surroundings, the leisure areas or the paths that surround the beach.

Playa de Alcalá
Another of the interesting beaches that can be visited in Guía de Isora is Playa de Alcalá. The first thing that catches your attention is the long promenade, conducive to great walks and enjoy spectacular sunsets. The Alcalá beach is a small cove of black sand, with landscaped areas around the promenade and the beach itself. The Alcalá beach has many amenities such as changing room, bathroom, lifeguards or aid station, tourist information point, rental of hammocks and leisure areas. The Playa de Alcalá has a length of 700 meters by 15 wide, it is semi-urban. The surroundings of the Alcalá beach are numerous places where you can taste the gastronomy of the area.
