About Calle del Castillo
Calle Castillo is without doubt the most important commercial artery of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The central and busy street is pedestrian which makes it a neurological center of commercial life in the capital.
The Calle Castillo is one of the oldest in the city and is already spoken of in the 17th century and the name is due to Castillo de San Cristóbal that was very close to the beginning of the street.
