The Parish of Santiago Apóstol is located in the municipality of Vilaflor of Chasta in the Plaza de La Escalona. It is a church of simple construction, with a nave and where the image of Santiago Apóstol is the most important element that houses.

The Church of Santiago Apóstol was founded thanks to the effort and tenacity put by the "escaloneros", hence the plaza where it is located is dedicated to them. . The church opened was inaugurated in 1985.
