Cueva de Las Palomas - Los Naturistas (Entrada A)
In the Municipality of Tinaja in Lanzarote there is one of the most striking natural elements of the island, known as Natural Monument of the Cave of the Naturalists or Cueva de las Palomas. This interesting natural monument is located concretely between the municipalities of Tías and Tinajo, has an approximate area of about 2 hectares and in 1994 received the classification of Espacio Natural de Canary Islands. The Cave of the Pigeons or Cave of the Naturalists constitutes a singular and very representative geomorphological element, the visitors that accede to it will be surprised with the galleries that run through its interior, the great beauty that its different rooms and scientific interest keep, which makes it stand out from other caves on the island. The volcanic tube formed the pahoehoe flows of the final phases of the Timanfaya eruption in 1730 and 1736. The formation is associated with changes in the volume of lava emitted during the active period, its interior has been mapped by speleologists and has a north-east orientation and extends along a length of 1640 meters. In the layout that draws is divided into 2 branches, they have a high degree of conservation and is characterized by showing the full range of characteristic morphologies of this type of volcanic caves.

Caldera de los Cuervos
The population of Tinajo has some of the most interesting trekking routes on the island of Lanzarote, one of the most interesting is a route that goes up to Caldera de los Cuervos. The spot that can be seen in the Volcano of the Crows is a fusion of volcanic ash and impressive mantle of badlands and as a result is a Martian vision. Ermita de los Dolores
In Tinajo one of the most important temples that can be visited is the Ermita de los Dolores, whose construction is linked to the volcanic phenomena that occurred in the area. from the year 1730 to 1736. The inhabitants of Tinajo made a promise to the Virgin and after remitting the eruptions erected this temple in gratitude. It is estimated that the construction of the hermitage began in 1774 when, according to legend, a virgin appeared to the shepherd Juana Rafaela on the slopes of the caldera Guiguan so the cult was opened between 1781 and 1785. The hermitage is formed by a single nave, its architectural style corresponds to the guidelines presented by the insular temples. On the right side you can see the sacristy and that for years served to give shelter to people who came to the temple on a pilgrimage. It should be noted that for the construction materials used environment, mainly volcanic stone both in the door or the oculus in addition to the side buttresses. The surroundings of the hermitage is the place where the festivities are celebrated in honor of the Virgen de los Dolores.
