About Playa de los Roques
The Playa de los Roques is located in the municipality of Los Realejos, very close to Puerto de la Cruz. The charm of this beach is the impressive rocks of volcanic origin that are located on the beach and stoically endure the beat of the waves, the descent of the tide further enhances the beauty of this perfect place to photograph.
Once the tide has gone down in the Playa de los Roques a fine black sand comes out and mixes with the callaos. Access to the beach must be done through the well-known water trail, which is very close to the Puerto de la Cruz.
It is advisable to bathe with caution in the waters of the beach since the currents can be dangerous and it is joined by the intense waves.
The Playa de los Roques has an approximate length of 350 meters long and about 20 wide, it is composed of rock, sand and callaos forming one of the most beautiful places in the north from the island of Tenerife.
