Playa de Puerto de Tazacorte

Tazacorte is a town located in the northwestern part of the island of La Palma, until here the conquistador arrived Alonso Fernández de Lugo The population was integrated until 1925 in Los Llanos de Aridane and currently bases its economy on tourism development.

Tazacorte has one of the most interesting beaches on the island, it is known as Puerto de Tazacorte Beach. The beach is very close to the coquettish port, it is an urban beach but it is surrounded by nature and it attracts the attention of its 200 meters of shore in which sand and black gravel is mixed and that is bathed by calm waters ideal for bathing.

As mentioned, the Puerto de Tazacorte beach is surrounded by nature and is located at the mouth of a ravine. It is a bit separated from the noise of the town which makes it a quiet area in which to rest in the hammocks available for rent or other very interesting services.
