The Plaza de las Flores, in the municipality of Güímar, was renovated in 2013. However, it has continued to maintain iconic elements of the area for the resident population, such as the kiosk, the benches, the trees and the pieces of the balustrade that were in good condition before the remodeling of the space.

In the vicinity of the square there is a 600 square meters children's playground that complements the provision of the infrastructure of this urban space.

This location is one of the most important green areas of the municipality. In addition, it is in the center of its Open Commercial Zone, with several cafes and shops to enjoy the surroundings.
