Recommended to walk from the central Plaza del Charco, passing through Puerto Viejo and the Plaza de Europa towards San Telmo and the area of the Lago Martiánez. No less recommendable is the area of Playa Jardín where the three main beaches of the city are located, just before Punta Brava.

 

The Puerto de la Cruz is internationally recognized for having Playa Jardín in this area, which is the attraction that attracts the most visitors of all Islas Canary Islands, the Loro Parque, the largest zoological amusement park in Europe.

Located in what were formerly the "Llanos de Martiánez", an area of beaches and puddles, the design came from the hand of the well-known Lanzarote architect César Manrique.
