Lago Martiánez
The Lago Martiánez is an aquatic complex located in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife) in the area of Martiánez, which is composed of different pools and a large central artificial lake. In total, the leisure complex has 100,000 m2. in which the swimming pools are linked with gardens, restoration areas and hammocks, a design in which the volcanic stone so characteristic of the north of the island has special relevance. Located in what were formerly the "Llanos de Martiánez", an area of beaches and puddles, the design came from the hand of the well-known Lanzarote architect César Manrique.

Playa de San Telmo
The San Telmo Beach is the most traditional of the beaches of Puerto de la Cruz. In the same historical center of the city, it is formed by natural puddles that are formed between rocks, the deeper the tide rises. It is also next to the Paseo de San Telmo, typical for its shops and restaurants and its proximity to the Hermitage of San Telmo.

Plaza de Europa
Located in the most picturesque and touristic area of Puerto de la Cruz, the Plaza de Europa is a wide and open fortified square in which, next to its walls, there is a balcony by which You can walk along the sea. Located opposite the Town Hall and next to Miranda's house, on one of the sides of the square, on the stockade where there is also a gate from which the entrance to the Old Pier is controlled, they find six cannons of the XVIII and XIX centuries that were ceded by the Ministry of Defense and the Canary Military Zone. El Viejo Muelle
Around the Old Pier, Puerto de la Cruz developed well into the 19th century. Its economic activity was for many years linked to the trade that entered this small port. Faced with the need to receive the goods that were later sent to La Orotava, the idea of creating a port where all the trade was processed arose. Curiously, and although Portuenses consider it as "the Old Wharf", the truth is that origina was at the beginning of the 16th century near the mouth of the Barranco de San Felipe, in what is today Playa Jardín. It was in the mid-seventeenth century when, due to security reasons, the possibility of displacing the port began to be considered, which was done towards the Charco de los Camarones area. Already in the eighteenth century the full maritime commercial activity of Puerto de la Cruz was done through this wharf located near what is now the Plaza del Charco.

Plaza del Charco
It could be considered Plaza del Charco as the social and tourist center of Puerto de la Cruz. All the central and most touristic streets of the town converge on it, as well as being next to the popular Old Pier that so many sailors give to the Port. It is a square that dates back centuries but there is no written record of its origin, but it is known that from the eighteenth century and began to be the meeting place of the social life of Puerto de the cross. Its most important reform was made in the year 1835, and at the end of that century its walks were paved. In the early twentieth century, the fountain was installed, and later the central kiosk. Canary palms, Indian laurels and an ñamera give the green image that this square needs, whose original name, Plaza del Charco de los Camarones, is due to the fact that centuries ago, given its proximity to the sea, when there were swells in it, large puddles formed in which, according to the chronicles, shrimps could then be fished.

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia
The Matrix Parish of Our Lady of the Rock of France is the main church of Puerto de la Cruz. Located in the center of the city, it houses some of the most venerated images in the city, such as the Virgen del Carmen of Puerto de la Cruz and the Great Power of God. It is formed by three naves that are separated from each other by Tuscan columns, it stands out externally by the central tower that it has in the front and that was built later to the rest of the temple.

Complejo Playa Jardín
The Playa Garden Complex is located in the westernmost part of Puerto de la Cruz, very close to the well-known Loro Parque. Designed by César Manrique, this complex consists of three beaches, Playa Jardín itself, Playa Chica and finally Punta Brava, all of them with black volcanic sand and usually strong waves.
It is an ideal place to walk around Puerto de la Cruz because it has a long walk along the sea, as well as the occasional restaurant and bar where you can stop and try the typical Canarian gastronomy.

Castillo San Felipe
The Castillo de San Felipe is at the beginning of the Playa Jardín complex, in what is the mouth of the San Felipe gully, west of Puerto de la Cruz.
In ancient times, this fortress was raised as one of the four that were to defend the island from pirate attacks. Started to build in the year 1599, it was finished 5 years later. It is colonial style and made of masonry.
Declared a Historic Artistic Monument in 1949, today it is used as a cultural space for different events.

Loro Parque
Loro Parque is a zoological theme park located in Puerto de la Cruz, near the Playa Jardín complex. In it you can enjoy different shows, including parrots, orcas or dolphins, but you can also spot tigers, sea lions, gorillas, chimpanzees ... It is considered one of the best known and best valued zoo in Europe. to be the amusement park with the most visits in Spain.

Jardín Botánico
The Botanical Garden, or Garden of Acclimatization of La Orotava, is located in the neighborhood of La Paz in Puerto de la Cruz. It was created in the year 1788 by order of King Carlos III in order to cultivate plant species that came from tropical areas. Since then, it has housed plants from all continents in an area of more than 20,000 m2. In 1994 it was declared as an Asset of Cultural Interest.

Parque Taoro
The Parque Taoro is the largest green area in Puerto de la Cruz. It is a large park with 100,000 square meters of gardens, walks, running tracks, leisure and restoration areas, with fountains, waterfalls and hotels, which is located on the mountain of Taoro, and therefore, with magnificent views of everything Puerto de la Cruz, more than enough reason to visit it. It is divided into three zones: the Watchtower, where the Mirador de Dulce Marí Loynaz, La Sortija, is located, a large green place with dirt paths frequented by sportsmen who travel here to run or just walk around , and finally, the gardens of Taoro, beautifully designed to the smallest detail, with fountains and waterfalls and magnificent views of the sea and Puerto de la Cruz. Among the buildings that can be seen in the Taoro Park are the Anglican Church, located in the area of La Sortija, and the Gran Hotel Taoro, a historic building that once housed great personalities that visited the island of Tenerife.

Mirador de la Paz
The Mirador de la Paz is one of the best views of the entire coastline of Puerto de la Cruz. Located in the residential neighborhood of La Paz, in what is the area of Los Acantilados, Ladera and Cuevas de Martiánez, from it you can see both the Martiánez beach and the complete touristic of the Lakes. In addition you can see the entire coastal horizon in the direction of Santa Úrsula, and the Costa del Acentejo. In the vicinity there are several tourist attractions, such as the Hermitage of San Amaro or the bust of Agatha Christie, who spent some time in this area.
