The Castillo de San Felipe is at the beginning of the Playa Jardín complex, in what is the mouth of the San Felipe gully, west of Puerto de la Cruz.

 

In ancient times, this fortress was raised as one of the four that were to defend the island from pirate attacks. Started to build in the year 1599, it was finished 5 years later. It is colonial style and made of masonry.

 

Declared a Historic Artistic Monument in 1949, today it is used as a cultural space for different events.

El Arcón is a sociocultural enrichment project.
We offer a platform and a space for leisure and artistic expression.

To carry out this ambitious project a wide range of services are proposed, the most outstanding are:

-Apposing for leisure and fun, you can enjoy our SportBar.
(Billiards, pingpong, Futbolin, board games, egames ...) and have a good time between friends.

-One of the priorities is to promote musical talent, a room where you can enjoy concerts of different genres and styles, with room for free micro and jam nights where anyone can participate.

-For the musicians a particular space is offered to rehearse and practice the staging, as it is a live stage, with equipment and technician.

- Private events are organized:
(company dinners, farewells, birthdays ...) covering needs tailored and personalized.

-Following the cultural commitment,
El Arcón hosts a space for the presentation of projects, exhibitions, screenings, thematic nights, DJ sessions, tournaments ...
