Parque Taoro

The Parque Taoro is the largest green area in Puerto de la Cruz. It is a large park with 100,000 square meters of gardens, walks, running tracks, leisure and restoration areas, with fountains, waterfalls and hotels, which is located on the mountain of Taoro, and therefore, with magnificent views of everything Puerto de la Cruz, more than enough reason to visit it.

It is divided into three zones: the Watchtower, where the Mirador de Dulce Marí Loynaz, La Sortija, is located, a large green place with dirt paths frequented by sportsmen who travel here to run or just walk around , and finally, the gardens of Taoro, beautifully designed to the smallest detail, with fountains and waterfalls and magnificent views of the sea and Puerto de la Cruz.

Among the buildings that can be seen in the Taoro Park are the Anglican Church, located in the area of La Sortija, and the Gran Hotel Taoro, a historic building that once housed great personalities that visited the island of Tenerife.
