About San Blas
In Villa de Mazo the Parish Church of San Blas or Church of San Blas is located. The temple is located in the historical helmet of the municipality and it is arrived at through a steep paved road that communicates the parish with the town.
In its origins the parish was a hermitage that was built in 1512, centuries later it is extended with two more ships and that gives shape to the building that is currently known. The church of San Blas has a clear Mudejar style and within its walls is the central mahogany altarpiece, created under the baroque style and which is undoubtedly one of the most valuable elements of the church.
You can also see within the parish of San Blas an interesting set of Flemish images dating from the sixteenth century and among which stands out how could it be otherwise the size of the San Blas pattern.
In the vicinity of the Parish Church of San Blas is also very interesting, nearby is the parish house that is the home of the parish priest who was recently restored and stands out for the value of his style and antiquity.
