1. Playa del Búnker

The El Bunker beach is not a normal beach, which makes this point one of the most interesting in the south of Tenerife, not because it is a quiet bathing area but because of the value paleontological that encloses the deposit that is in its environs. The deposit has the name of Bunker El Guincho Paleontological Zone and according to experts there may be traces formed in a warmer time than the current one, during the last Interglacial.

The area of the Bunker beach is classified as Asset of Cultural Interest with category of Paleontological Zone and forms part of the municipality of Arona.

2. Caleta de Negros
La Caleta de Negros is a volcanic sand beach in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain). It is located between the César Manrique Maritime Park and the Palmetum of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, very close to the port. Next to the beach is the Castle of San Juan.
The beach was chosen by the advanced Alonso Fernández de Lugo for the disembarkation of 1200 soldiers in the conquest of the island on May 1, 1494.

3. Playa de Los Guinchos

Lovers of a small and quiet beach have a perfect place to enjoy a great day at the beach, it is Playa de los Guinchos, located in the municipality of Breña Baja on the island of La Palma.

The Playa de Las Canteras, located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is considered one of the best urban beaches in all Europe. 7. Complejo Playa Jardín

The Playa Garden Complex is located in the westernmost part of Puerto de la Cruz, very close to the well-known Loro Parque. Designed by César Manrique, this complex consists of three beaches, Playa Jardín itself, Playa Chica and finally Punta Brava, all of them with black volcanic sand and usually strong waves.


 

It is an ideal place to walk around Puerto de la Cruz because it has a long walk along the sea, as well as the occasional restaurant and bar where you can stop and try the typical Canarian gastronomy.

9. Playa de Cofete

The most famous unspoilt beach in Fuerteventura is Playa de Cofete, the first thing that strikes the attention of this stunning beach are its dimensions of 12 kilometers long and the wild nature that the whole environment has.
