Its current headquarters is Casa de Carta in Valle de Guerra (La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain) and its main function is to investigate, conserve and disseminate Canarian popular culture.
Given the limitations of growth that Casa de Carta presents, the Autonomous Organization of Museums and Centers shuffles the possibility of transferring it to a building adjacent to the Museum of History of Tenerife, in the historic center of La Laguna.
