1. Mirador Lomo Molino

The Mirador de Lomo Molino is a spectacular viewpoint that is located in the municipality of El Tanque on the island of Tenerife. The viewpoint is part of the Insular Network of Viewpoints of the Excelentísimo Cabildo Insular de Tenerife.

At the arrival to the viewpoint, what will first call attention to visitors is the large parking area. From the Mirador de Lomo Molino you have incredible views of the coastline of the island, also on clear days it is possible to enjoy the Teide and the neighboring island of La Palma.

Next to the Mirador there is a park where some machines will make the older ones can exercise. Some stairs give access to the viewpoint itself and once there enjoy the views of the region Daute, covers the whole area known as "Isla Baja".

The Mirador de Lomo Molino is part of the valuable natural heritage in the form of a harmonious landscape fully integrated into the environment.

2. Ermita de San José de Los Llanos

San Jose de los Llanos is a small population nucleus that belongs to the municipality of El Tanque in the northern part of the island. San José de los Llanos has points with an altitude of more than 1000 meters above sea level and is about 13 kilometers from El Tanque.

Among the places of interest in the area is the Hermitage of San José de Los Llanos, built in XVIII in a semi-isolated place but with a magnificent natural beauty.

The Hermitage of San José de Los Llanos was totally abandoned until in 1980 it was completely rebuilt. They took advantage of part of its masonry walls, as well as the steeple of two holes and the stone arch.

It is worth noting that the church has an interior patio, a somewhat strange element in this type of temple. The roof of the hermitage is made of Arabic tiles with four sides.

3. Iglesia de San Antonio de Padua

The Church of San Antonio de Padua belongs to the municipality of El Tanque, this temple is located in the area of El Tanque Bajo . Its origin is found in a hermitage that was founded in the 16th century and that was completely destroyed after the eruption of the Trevejo volcano that erupted in that century.

The church dates from 1728 and later, already in the twentieth century was completely restored giving it the appearance it has today. This reform served to expand the dependencies of the church.

The Church of San Antonio de Padua of El Tanque has a rectangular structure with a square chapel attached to it.

In the southern part of the temple you can see the Chapel of the Rosary erected in 1772, the sacristy and the rectory were also joined later. The importance of the whole set has made it be considered Asset of Cultural Interest within the category of Monument.

The Special Natural Reserve of Chinyero is a natural place that has an area of 2379.4 hectares around the Chinyero volcano. The Reserve occupies part of the municipalities of Santiago del Teide, El Tanque and Garachico on the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain).
