1. Mirador El Emigrante

The population of the Canary Islands have had times of much emigration, due to the lack of opportunities of yesteryear in the archipelago. In Garachico, a monument was built in honor of those people who left the island in search of better opportunities or with the intention of leaving to go back and start their own businesses. In 1990 the call was inaugurated as Mirador el Emigrante to honor the people who left the island with the intention of having a better job and better future prospects. The initiative comes from the Chicharros Mensajeros association.

The Mirador El Emigrante is located in the Risco Partido, within the municipality of Garachico and there is a monument in it created by the artist Fernando Ramos, is a human figure made of bronze about two meters high that is on a stone base, also about 2 meters and with a tombstone that refers to the emigration.

From the viewpoint you can see an overview of the population, and it is possible to clearly see the two lava languages of the eruption of the Black Sand in 1706.

In the southern part of the island, in Granadilla de Abona there is a natural coastal area called Reserva Especial Especial de Montaña Roja. The Mirador de Chipeque is not only a place reserved for residents in Tenerife, but visitors have one of the most beautiful views in this place of the whole island. Chipeque is close to other viewpoints such as La Tarta I and II or the Montaña de Limón viewpoint.

The Humboldt viewpoint is part of the network of viewpoints that is located on the Orotava Valley, from where there are spectacular views that reach not only the valley and its banana plantations, but also the entire Port of La Cruz, La Orotava and even Los Realejos, besides having a magnificent view of all the volcanoes that surround it, among them, the Teide.

Its name owes it to the eminent geographer Alexander von Humboldt, who spent time in this area of Tenerife admiring its landscapes and taking geological, cartographic and floral notes of the island. Among the most beautiful places you can visit in El Sauzal is the Mirador de La Garañona. This privileged place is located at the top of the cliff of El Sauzal and gives all those who visit it one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the north of the island of Tenerife

The steep and rugged coastline of the island can be seen in its maximum splendor, it can be seen that there are remains of an old elevator dating from the mid-twentieth century that was used to extract sand from the beach, although it was not used much, some of the machinery is still preserved.
