About Museo Guanche

A few steps from the iconic Millenary Drago of Icod de los Vinos, Mall La Magalona, at this point is the Ethnographic Museum dedicated to the guanche culture that has been so important for the Canarian archipelago.

In the Guanche Museum of Icod de los Vinos it is possible to know in depth how the Canarian natives lived. You can see reproductions of figures in real size, in this way visitors will have the opportunity to get closer to the way of life that had the former inhabitants of the archipelago.

The Museo Guanche has the possibility of acquiring an audio guide for the tour of all the facilities. It also has a store to buy any souvenirs, possibility of acquiring photos of the visit and a leisure area.

Some inhabitants of the museum are the pastor Haridian, the Mencey Pelicar, the Princess Dácil, the Vigila Ydafe, the Nauzet Warrior among other figures that are part of the history and the legend of the island.
