About Playa de San Marcos
The San Marcos Beach is in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos in the population center of San Marcos, it is one of the places of the northern part of Tenerife with the calmer waters. Because of the situation of the beach, it is sheltered by what the sea is usually in relative calm.
It is characterized as a black sand beach and has a Red Cross rescue point, showers, hammock rental services, areas with restaurants and cocktail bars.

The San Marcos Beach has a length of 160 meters by 40 wide, it can be easily accessed on foot through the stairs and accesses.
