1. Playa del Inglés

The Playa del Inglés is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on the Isla de La Gomera. This beach is located in Valle Gran Rey, in the western part of the island and although it is not a large beach it is undoubtedly one of the best known, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a day of spectacular beach.

The Playa del Ingles is characterized by having black sands of medium grain and callaos, it has an approximate length of 300 meters by 80 wide and it is located in an isolated and rustic point where you usually practice nudism.

It should be noted that the Playa del Ingles became an important point for the hippie movement since the seventies, near the beach you can find apartments, restaurants, entertainment and many other services for those who decide to get there.

Although there are days where the waters of the beach are a bit dangerous, when the sea is calm it is a unique place to take a bath. The good weather, the pleasant temperatures and the tranquility of the area are undoubtedly some more elements to consider in order to enjoy this interesting point of La Gomera.

2. Playa de Vueltas

In Valle Gran Rey you will find a small coastal town called Vueltas, a placid, quiet and perfect place to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of L a Gomera. In this population nucleus is a coquettish beach, next to the port, sheltered from the strong currents and at the foot of a spectacular cliff.

The Playa de Vueltas has calm and crystal clear waters, a fine black sand that the environment makes it even more beautiful. It has dimensions of approximately 150 meters long and 10 wide, with places to eat or have a snack and which can be accessed by taking a walk without any problem.

It is a semi-urban beach, but it is a quiet beach next to the port, from its shore you can see the boats moored. The cliff that surrounds it brings even more beauty to the place, a very picturesque place with a wonderful atmosphere that will make visitors get bohemian air that is breathed in Vueltas.

In San Sebastian de la Gomera you can visit some of the quietest beaches on the island. One of these beaches is called Playa Tapahuga, a charming place, calm and perfect to enjoy a fantastic beach day,

It should be noted that it is a semi-urban beach, with a length of 350 meters long and an average width of 30 meters. Being somewhat removed from San Sebastian de La Gomera has a low occupancy rate, so there are no agglomeration problems. Close to the beach of Tapahuga there are others similar to this one like Beaches Chinguarime or Playa del Medio Of course you can also find the beach near Santiago. The beach can be reached by a dirt road either on foot or by car.
