1. Chorros de Epina

La Gomera is full of charming places, picturesque places full of legend, we have the example of the Jets of Epina, a fountain that is in full Garajonay Natural Park in Vallehermoso.

The origin of the Chorros de Epina has a halo of mysticism and legend, it is located in an impressive place surrounded by nature, it has even been said that the waters emanating from their pipes have benefits for fortune and love.

Legend has it that there was a time when the waters that came out of the pipes was miraculous. Another of the powers granted was that they could decipher the secrets of destiny and show the way of love.

When the Beñesmén party was being held, the youngest women, who were already married, went to the jets to see their face reflected in the water, if they kept calm and Clara wanted to say that love would come soon, but if on the contrary it looked cloudy it was a sign of lack of love.

Currently Chorros de Epina consists of 7 wooden pipes, according to the legend men must drink from left to right in the odd pipes, while women also from left to right but in even pipes.

The Roque de Agando has an altitude of 1251 meters above sea level and forms one of the most breathtaking landscapes of the entire archipelago, geologically the Roque is a phonolithic python that is located within the municipality of San Sebastián de la Gomera.

The Natural Monument is part of the Garajonay National Park, which is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

In addition to the beauty that the impressive rock gives off, the whole environment also keeps a valuable treasure of flora with rare and autochthonous species complemented by Canarian pines.

There is a viewpoint where you can admire the beauty in all its splendor, it should also be noted that there are many hiking trails that run through the environment of the rock. Without a doubt it is one of the most outstanding places to which visitors can access.
