The Isla de la Gomera is one of the treasures of the Canary Islands, within this small island you can find places of a beauty that will not leave anyone indifferent of your visitors. The Mirador de Abrantes is one of the most picturesque spots of the Isla de la Gomera, this construction is located in the town of Agulo, in the highest of the cliff of Abrante in the northeast part.

The viewpoint of Abrantes is not a normal viewpoint, located about 400 meters high, with a cantilever projecting over a cliff with a glass floor from which you can see the impressive fall to the Villa de Agulo. An impressive place not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo.

4. Iglesia de San Marcos Evangelista

In the town of Agulo on the island of La Gomera is the Church of San Marcos Evangelista. It was previously a chapel and was founded in 160, the initiative, as in many of the churches of the island, arises from the residents of the population interested in having a place of worship. Until 1735 it was not called a church, after some works that transformed it into a more complete temple. At the beginning of the 20th century the church was demolished and rebuilt, giving rise to the building that can be visited today. The person in charge of the last remodeling was the architect Antonio Pintor who designed a Neo-Gothic style building that gave rise to the way we know it today.

Among the remarkable sculptures that can be found in the temple is the image of the Virgen de La Merced and of course San Marcos Evangelista. The church attracts a lot of attention since it has semicircular covers, with the silver Neogothic chalice that was a gift that the King Alfonso XIII made to the population of Agulo.

6. Chorros de Epina

La Gomera is full of charming places, picturesque places full of legend, we have the example of the Jets of Epina, a fountain that is in full Garajonay Natural Park in Vallehermoso.

The origin of the Chorros de Epina has a halo of mysticism and legend, it is located in an impressive place surrounded by nature, it has even been said that the waters emanating from their pipes have benefits for fortune and love.

7. Torre del Conde

In the heart of the island of La Gomera is the Alto de Garajonay, another of those beauty-laden places located in the northern part of La Gomera, in the municipality of Vallehermoso. 9. Monumento Natural de Los Órganos
