In the west of the Island of La Gomera you will find Mirador del Santo in the middle of nature, specifically the area is known as Natural Monument del Lomo del Carretón and is in the town of Arure. From this viewpoint the view is simply spectacular, you can see a volcanic landscape that dominates the entire space and highlights green areas that contrast with the dark earth. They also highlight the palm trees scattered throughout the ravine and in the background the blue of the immense ocean.
The viewpoint has a series of footbridges that make it more comfortable to access and that lead to the Hermitage of El Santo that is in the vicinity. It must be reached on foot, since it does not have access to vehicles, so it becomes a placid place without a hustle and bustle of cars.
Also from there you can see the village of Taguluche spread all over the slope of the ravine of the same name. The ocher colors of its surroundings also highlight the beauty of the place, it is undoubtedly a perfect place to relax and admire the horizon.
