The Isla de la Gomera is one of the treasures of the Canary Islands, within this small island you can find places of a beauty that will not leave anyone indifferent of your visitors. The Mirador de Abrantes is one of the most picturesque spots of the Isla de la Gomera, this construction is located in the town of Agulo, in the highest of the cliff of Abrante in the northeast part.

The viewpoint of Abrantes is not a normal viewpoint, located about 400 meters high, with a cantilever projecting over a cliff with a glass floor from which you can see the impressive fall to the Villa de Agulo. An impressive place not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo.

From the viewpoint it is also possible to see the island of Tenerife and see the impressive Teide from Hierro. The Mirador de Abrante also has a cafeteria to enjoy any aperitif while enjoying the breathtaking views.

An essential place on the island of La Gomera, in addition to the Agulo and the southern part of the neighboring Tenerife you can see the municipalities of El Charco, Las Casas and La Montañeta.

In the heart of the island of La Gomera is the Alto de Garajonay, another of those beauty-laden places located in the northern part of La Gomera, in the municipality of Vallehermoso. The Alto de Garajonay is a watchtower from where you can enjoy stunning night views of the sky, the absence of light pollution allows you to enjoy the universe and perfectly distinguish the constellations.

El Alto is located at an altitude of 1487 meters above sea level and it is possible to see from here the island of La Palma, El Hierro and Tenerife Island of Gran Canaria.

The curious situation of the Alto de Garajonay in Vallehermoso has meant that this point of La Gomera is wrapped in a certain halo of magic, traces can be observed of sacrifices of pre-Hispanic origin. At one time it was known as El Bailadero because it was believed to be a meeting place for witches.

Up to Alto de Garajonay can be reached by car or by walking through the multitude of paths that run along the island and reach this point.

The Mirador de la Montaña del Dinero is a perfect place to enjoy a great view and admire the landscape of a part of the island of La Gomera. This viewpoint is located in the municipality of Agulo, the place where the viewpoint is located is the Carretera del Monte, it is very close to the junction that goes down to Meriga, from here you can see the upper part of the Barranco de La Palmita.
