Tacoronte has one of the most beautiful gardens on the island of Tenerife, it is the Hamilton Park. The garden is a fantastic green area that has a beautiful Canarian flora among which include species such as Laurisilva or Fayal-Brezal, although it is also possible to see the part dedicated to the vine. This part is especially interesting since visitors will be able to see the different varieties of this fruit from which the best wines of the Canarian archipelago are extracted.

The Hamilton Park opened its doors in 2003, is on the edge of a ravine and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the charms of nature. The visit to the gardens turns into a didactic and fun walk, the different species that can be seen have an informative panel in which each of the species is described.

The little ones can also enjoy the gardens where you can see an area for the little ones with fun swings.

Among the most beautiful places you can visit in El Sauzal is the Mirador de La Garañona. This privileged place is located at the top of the cliff of El Sauzal and gives all those who visit it one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the north of the island of Tenerife
Not only are the views a real attraction for visitors, but also the landscaped areas with a multitude of autochthonous silvers of the archipelago enhance the value of this corner.

From the Mirador de La Garañona you can see the Atlantic Ocean in all its immensity, but you also get a top-down view of the Playa de la Garañona, also belonging to the municipality of El Sauzal as well as other places such as the coastal core of Mesa del Mar.

The steep and rugged coastline of the island can be seen in its maximum splendor, it can be seen that there are remains of an old elevator dating from the mid-twentieth century that was used to extract sand from the beach, although it was not used much, some of the machinery is still preserved.

The viewpoint has an area of 1500 square meters, surrounded by greenery and places to rest.

Among the most interesting and prominent places in the municipality of El Sauzal is the Parque Mirador de Los Lavaderos, a perfect place to relax, enjoy a quiet afternoon and at the same time have impressive views of the coast of this part of the island. This is one of the most interesting green areas of El Sauzal, from where you can have a spectacular view of the Teide and the coastline. It is located near the town center of the municipality by the lower part of the church of San Pedro Apóstol and 200 meters above sea level.

The park and viewpoint has this name because for years this place housed a public laundry in which natural water flowed and reached a flow of between 25 and 50 cubic meters.

In 1987 the City Council converted the surroundings into a recreational area for the use and enjoyment of the town.

Currently the Parque Mirador de Los Lavaderos has become a meeting place for neighbors and visitors where you can relax and admire the views that give this point of El Sauzal<
