Montaña Roja
In the southern part of the island, in Granadilla de Abona there is a natural coastal area called Reserva Especial Especial de Montaña Roja. This unique space is perfectly recognizable, in an area of steep little coast and dominated by a flat land you can see an impressive red hill. 166 hectares of inorganic sands and wetlands where you can see some protected birds, such as the black-footed plover but also others such as the curlew, sandpiper, or redshank and many more. Playa del Médano
In the southern part of the island of Tenerife, in the municipal area of Granadilla de Abona you will find one of the beaches with more southern solera is the Playa del Médano. Iglesia de San Antonio de Padua
In Granadilla de Abona is the Parish of San Antonio de Padua, which was built in 1617. This temple that is preserved today is not the original site that in 1645 it was demolished and rebuilt, this in turn suffered a fire so it had to be rebuilt but already in 1711, serving as its foundations to build the church that can currently be visited. The Church of San Antonio de Padua is considered Good of Cultural Interest as much for the wealth of the construction itself as for the treasures that are kept inside it . Among the elements of greater value is the goldsmith and cult objects, for example a Diadem of Gold of San Antonio, a silver lamp of typical Canarian goldsmithing that dates from 1617, also the procedural cross of 1691 , spokesman of silver of 1702, a silver shell that is in the baptistery of 1710 and the great candlesticks of 1713. The temple is composed by a single ship of Latin cross, the cover is the typical one that is usually seen in other churches on the island. On the ceilings highlights the Moorish style and the altarpieces, carvings and images that are part of the Canarian school.

Cueva Del Santo Hermando Pedro
In the southern part of the island, in the municipal area of Granadilla de Abona we can find a picturesque sanctuary located in a cave, it is known as Cueva del Santo Hermano Pedro. The Sanctuary is close to the Reina Sofía Airport and is dedicated to Pedro de San José Betancur which was popularly known as the Santo Hermano Pedro, it is said that the saint took refuge in these caves when he was a child in which he rested when he was taking care of his family's herd. Inside the cave you can find a wood carving in honor of the Saint Brother Peter which is next to the offerings that the faithful usually leave in the temple, these offerings they are papers where parishioners write down their wishes and requests. Pedro de San José Betancur was born on the island of Tenerife although his religious and evangelizing work was carried out entirely in South America, specifically in Guatemala where he helped cure the sick and give hope to the most disadvantaged. The Cueva del Santo Hermano Pedro was declared Asset of Cultural Interest in 1999 with category Historic Site awarded by Government of the Canary Islands.

Charco del Pino
Charco del Pino is a small population center that belongs to Granadilla de Abona, before having this name, this point was called Chiñama , a Guanche word that comes from the mountain of the same name that dominates the place. Charco del Pino is located more than 700 meters above sea level in the middle of Montaña de Chiñama about 3 kilometers from the center of Granadilla de Abona , is divided between Charco del Pino, Los Llanos and Montaña Gorda. According to historians, the neighborhood was inhabited since Guanche times, and they have even found archaeological remains that prove it in the part of the mountain. The village emerged in the sixteenth century during the colonization as payment of the place to Chasna. In 1690 the hermitage of San Luis king of France was built by the brothers Luis, Ana and Isabel García del Castillo.

Museo de Historia de Granadilla Abona
The Granadilla de Abona History Museum is the perfect place to go and to know in depth the historical evolution of part of the island of Tenerife, the History Museum of Granadilla de Abona. This museum is located in an old typical Canarian house dating from 1800 and in one of the most stately streets of the town in the historic center of Granadilla. The Museum was put into operation in 2002, in it you can see different collections that serve as an excuse to make a trip through time. The museum offers through the different rooms the steps that the municipality has followed throughout history, from its uses and customs, through work and its place its history since the Guanches populated this part of the island until today day. The Museo de Historia de Granadilla of abona is divided into eleven rooms, the most important being the room dedicated to the aboriginal funeral world where it is possible to see the different types of burials with their trousseau. You can also know different data on culture, agriculture or aboriginal rites. Without doubt one of the most interesting places in this town.

Monumento Natural de las Montañas de Ifara y Los Riscos
The natural monument of the Mountain of Ifara and Los Riscos is located in the municipal area of Granadilla de Abona. This monument is made up of 2 volcanic cones that stand out in a unique way, among volcanic landscapes very characteristic of the south of the island. Associated with these two volcanic cones are also others in the area of great geomorphological and geological interest that is associated with the phenomenon of volcanism that is so important in Tenerife. The flora that can be found along the 288 hectares of the Monument of Ifara and Los Riscos is dominated by tabaibas and cardones for the most part. You can also see certain fauna, mainly birds such as the common pigeon, the kestrel, warblers and the curlews among other species. Also worth mentioning are invertebrates such as the longicorn beetle, an endemic species.
