Of the most important are the Cuevas de los Cabezazos or the one of Higuera Cota. Other caves that have been found have been the Cueva del Horno, the Lagarete or Los Guanches.

In an area close to Los Rodeos, where the Tenerife North Airport is located, there is an abandoned bunker that was built under the threat of a possible attack during World War II by allies.
