1. Ermita de la Virgen del Pino

In the municipal area of El Paso we can find the Hermitage of Our Lady of the Pine. This temple is the destination of many hiking trails that run through this part of the island of La Palma. Even the hermitage is reached by going over the top of the crest that borders La Caldera de Taburiente, passes through the Morro Morisco, petroglyphs of Tagoror in the Pico de la Sabina, Lomo Corralejo, Degollada del Río.

2. Ermita Nuestra Señora de la Concepción

The Church of El Salvador is located in Santa Cruz de La Palma, was founded in 1800, the parish is the result of a series of reforms and extensions that gave place to the basilica that is known today. The Church of El Salvador consists of three naves that are separated by half-point arches, smooth shaft and arches, while the cover is Mudejar style that gives a certain Arab air .

The Matrix Parish of Our Lady of Remedies is a Catholic church that is located in full Llanos de Aridane on the island of La Palma. The church began to be built in the sixteenth century, in the southern part of Barranco de las Angustias, the work of the first Castilian settlers who came to La Palma.

The main image found in the Parish of Our Lady of Remedies is that of the Virgin herself, a sixteenth-century Flemish carving. Other elements of great value that can be found in the facilities of the church is the set of Santa Ana and the Virgin Girl, also the altarpiece of the Nazareno, the one of the Lord of the Garden and that of the Virgin of Rule and the image of the Christ of Health.

The church is an outstanding example of Mudejar architecture, the situation invites you to visit it because it is in the historic center of Llanos de Aridane in the area you could also see the Plaza de España, Plaza Elías Santos Abreu, the new Clock, the museum of sacred art or the local town hall.

In the neighborhood of El Pino in the town of Puntagorda you will find one of the points that offers the most spectacular views of the town, it is the Mirador from Miraflores. From here you can see a panorama of both the neighborhood of El Pino and El Pinar and perhaps the most advisable to get to the viewpoint is to go in the months of January and February since the almond trees that there are in all the valley blooms so a white blanket covers all the trees.

In the town of Breña Baja on the island of La Palma you will find the Church of San José. The value of the Church of San José is so important that in 1996 it was declared Asset of Cultural Interest.

10. Nuevo Faro de Fuencaliente
Lighthouses

The New Fuencaliente Lighthouse is next to the old one, which was destroyed after the eruption of a volcano. The lighthouse is located in the Natural Park of Cumbre Vieja, in the southern area of the island of La Palma, near this lighthouse is also the Salinas of Fuencaliente and the beach of the same name.

The Old lighthouse that has received several renovations to what is currently known is home to two museums, on the one hand the Interpretation Center of the Marine Reserve of the Island of La Palma and the Museo del Mar.

In this part of the island you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and the landscape that surrounds both the new and the old lighthouse is well worth a visit.
