Parque Natural de Tamadaba
The Tamadaba Natural Park is located in Agaete on the island of Gran Canaria. The most remarkable thing about this natural environment is that one of the territories that the hand of man has altered the least, which shows the richness of this point of Agaete. Tamada has about 7,500 hectares that goes from the western coast of the island and is declared by Unesco as Biosphere Reserve. The native Canarian pine forests on the summits and the imposing cliffs and the biodiversity that can be found in the ravines are the elements that make this park so rich. In the Tamadaba Natural Park you have to walk in the shade of the Canarian pines or have a picnic in the recreational area of Llanos de La Mimbre or admire from the peak of La Bandera the dense forest full of life. From the viewpoint of El Balcón, even within the Tamadaba Natural Park you can have a fabulous view of the marine cliffs that have a curious form of dragon's tail or the beach of Guayedra with its ravine dotted with palm trees.

Valle de Agaete
Very close to the municipality of Agaete is the Valley of the same name, this natural environment offers impressive landscapes thanks to hillsides loaded with vegetation. The Valle de Agaete is about 200 meters high and spread over different points. It has a population of about 300 inhabitants, with unique landscapes sheltered by Tamadaba. strong> and with a deep-rooted festive-cultural tradition. It should be noted that the Valle de Agaete has something very curious, it has large extensions in which there are cultivated coffee trees (the plant that produces coffee). The climate that exists in the valley is ideal for coffee trees to grow well despite being a delicate plant, in addition the lands where they are grown are among the most fertile of the whole island. The valley of Agaete is only 15 minutes by car from the coast and without a doubt the beauty of its landscape is one of the most charming elements of this place.

Puerto de las Nieves
Puerto de las Nieves is a small fishing village belonging to Agaete located on the north coast of Gran Canarias. This small fishing center offers the atmosphere and character of the Canarian idiosyncrasy, this is joined by the charming black sand beach that invites you to rest and disconnect. One of the most popular places in the fishing village is the Paseo de los Poetas, an avenue with restaurants, small craft shops and galleries. From Puerto de las Nieves it is possible to see the island of Tenerife with its imposing Teide, all this together with the contrast of the crystalline waters of its beach and the impressive rocky landscape that surrounds it. It is worth mentioning the Ermita de las Nieves, located in the main square of the town whose 16th-century triptych, depicting both the Virgin and the Child, was painted by the flamenco artist Joos Van Cleve. One of the best known elements of the Puerto de las Nieves and today disappeared was the so-called Finger of God, a pinnacle of basalt rock between 20 and 30 meters that was located in front of the cliffs that surround the port and that the tropical storm Delta destroyed in 2005.

Barranco del Sao; Barranco de Fagaoesto
Agaete offers a wide range of natural landscapes of great beauty where you can enjoy walking routes and be in full contact with nature and one of the most interesting and beautiful ravines is the ravine of Sao - Fagagesto. To get to this ravine and be able to follow the path, you have to follow the road that starts from Valle de Agaete and reaches El Sao, once after the house known as La Esperanza you will arrive at the place known as Madrelagua, from where this interesting trail begins. Along the route you will follow the course of the river and you can find a varied flora and fauna, you can also find an old pitch furnace that witnesses the use of this area of pines at the time of autarky. During the tour you can see old water mills, embrasures, laundries or pipes that pass through the most remote places of the ravine. These elements are the witnesses of the importance of the water that goes down the ravine in the past.

El Risco
In Agaete we can see another of the most interesting places offered by this town of Gran Canaria. Known by the name of El Risco, this natural area is about 130 meters high, has a population center of approximately 300 people. The neighborhood of El Risco is in the western part of Agaete, about half an hour from the urban area of the town, of an agricultural and livestock character, it highlights its excellent elaborations from the goat's milk and its constructions of Canarian tradition. El Risco is also known for the famous Charco Azul, an ideal freshwater pond to enjoy a refreshing swim with a waterfall that highlights the beauty from this lovely natural corner. Formed as a result of the erosive action of the waterfall that falls on the puddle, the surroundings of this place will not disappoint, its waterfalls and its vegetation complete what can be one of the most beautiful places in Agaete

Jardín Botánico Huerto de las Flores
In the town of Agaete you can also find a beautiful botanical garden where you can enjoy some of the most exotic plants you can see on the island. Also known as Huerto de las Flores, it is made up of more than 100 tropical species imported from different points of the globe. The Botanical Garden of Agaete was enjoyed by famous poets and artists such as Saulon Torón, Alonso Quesada or Tomás Morales, whose visits were used to find the inspiration while walking and meditating in its corners. The Botanical Garden or Garden of Flowers have species of flora such as guiro, macadamia, mamey or the camphor tree. The Huerto de las Flores began to be built in the 19th century thanks to the well-known family Armas, which started planting seeds brought from the most exotic places in the world, especially America. The Garden of flowers was recently renovated and since then has a vertical garden with a plant that brings a new air to this charming place.

The Hermitage of Our Lady of the Snows (also known as "Ermita de las Nieves"), is a hermitage located in the Gran Canaria municipality of Agaete in Gran Canaria. Inside, it pools the Flamenco Triptych of Our Lady of the Snows.

Iglesia Matriz de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción
In the center of the town center of Agaete is the Church of the Conception, also called Mother Church of Our Lady of the Conception or simply Church of Agaete. From the Plaza de la Constitución you can see how the facade of this temple with its white walls and ocher-colored details prevails. The monument dates from 1874, was built with the aim of replacing the first building of the temple that was completely destroyed by a fire. What stands out from the Church of Our Lady of the Concepción are its dimensions and the eclectic character with a facade in three streets. The interior of the temple is divided into three naves of which the central one is the widest and is where the windows that illuminate the choir are located. Among the artistic works that are inside are the image of San José, made of wood and built in Barcelona in 1901, also an image of San Antonio de Padua and another one from San Juan Bautista.
